Eteuati’s Maths Learning Story Term 3 2019 How do we solve a tricky math problem as a group?  Eluama’s family in Tokelau tell him to get some coconuts. He climbs three different coconut trees.  He climbed 3m up the first tree, 3.9m up the second tree and 2.2m up the third tree.  His friend climbed 3 different trees. The first one he climbed was 2.4m, the second one he climbed was 3.3m and the third one he climbed was 4.3m.  Which of them did the most climbing that day?   So first we write down the problem. Then we were comparing the first tree that Eluama climbed which was 3m and the second tree that he climbed wish was 3.9m so I added them together which = 6.9m. At that point, we had to add the third tree Eluama climbed, which was 4.3m so we add 4.3 to 6.9 and it =11.2  so that is how high Eluama climbed.  The first tree that his friend climbed, he went 2.4m up so I add the first tree that his friend clim...

Eteuati’s Visual Arts Inquiry Learning Story Term 3 2019 How do we communicate our ideas and opinions about an issue through visual arts?    My inquiry In my inquiry we  had to find an issue that I felt strongly about. The issue that I feel strongly  about is climate change. I feel strongly about climate change because I want to live a safe life e.g the earth is drying up and the ice is melting, this will affect people and animals living on earth. The Amazon Forest is burning that is a key breathing source for us people.
