kapa haka learning story. “You are only confined by the walls you build yourself” In kapa haka I was good at being loud, standing still, bing bold and showing sharp actions. There were 3 kids named Jack, Zack and Rose. Jack was 9, Zack was 11 and Rose was 13. They all had a reason why they were lost in the forest. They were lost in the forest because Jack was playing soccer and he kicked the ball into the forest. Zack was playing rugby and he kicked the ball too far and it also went in the forest and Rose was running to her Nana's house which is in the forest and got lost on the way because she was running away from a dog that she was trying to steal from her next door neighbors, that's how she got lost in the forest. Uati's math learning story I was trying to find out how much milk cartons will fit inside the box - the volume. First I tried to find out the volume of the box to see how many milk cartons can fit inside the box. First I added the length, the width and the height because it is the volume of the box, but it didn't work so I used multiplication and it = 30492 and that was the volume of the box. After that I tried to find out the volume of the milk carton by also adding it, but it also didn’t work so then I used multiply the length and the width and the height of the milk carton and it =135. So I worked out that I had to use multiply instead of addition to find out the volume of the box and the milk carton. Music and dancing At tech I learnt how to play a guitar -e.g I learnt my ABC and how to use a pick. But I couldn't remember my ABC, my ABC were hard because it was difficult so I quit. Then I went to Zion and he was playing on the piano. He was trying to learn, take the L (a dance move) from Fortnite, Fortnite is a game when you kill other people in the game. And in Fortnite there is not just killing but also dancing and also it’s funny. There are heaps of of dancing moves in the game and you can experience. Another activity was making a necklace and putting your dreams in it so it could come true and drawing samoan patterns in the marae. W e had some play outside but it was shute do, the game that I was playing outside was soccer with my friends Fares and Tuivasa. I like P.E do you too? I think the purpose of P.E is to expect the best from ourselves and each other when we play team games. I think it is is also to get some fresh air and have fun and meet more people. When we are doing P.E we have to participate and call out teammates names to help relay the ball in. The game we played was Tea-ball. I was good at hitting the ball in the gaps and hitting the ball far. The thing that was hard for me playing t-ball was catching the ball and running to catch the ball but my teammates would encourage me to keep trying. The thing that my team was good at was trying our best and never giving up and sharing the ball so that as a team we got better. My next step is looking at the strategies that other team uses so we can use those too. E.g throwing the ball at their legs, gang up on one person to get them out in dodgeball.
Eteuati’s Tech Learning Story Do you like tech well I do? “It’s still magic even if you know how it’s done” (Terry Pratchett) I think the purpose of tech is to have fun play with electric stuff and learn more about tech. I was good at leadership and encouraging others because I wanted to step up. I got better at stacking toothpicks and playdough higher and higher because I found that if you stack it slow it will be easier to stack. I found it hard to stack it slow because my hand would always shake, but I got better by holding my other hand so it will be still. My next steps are listening more about the learning and making sure that my group is listening to what I am saying.

Reading Learning story
Does Reading give you an idea in your `head or a photo of what's happening in the story? Reading is kinda boring for me because it takes forever to read. My books name is called There's A bird on your head, my book is a fiction chapter book which means it’s not real. I like the book because I like the character the character is nice and funny like when the elephant was scared of the bird. I am good at reading the words but not all of it because some of the words I don’t know what the word mean. For example I didn’t know the word “problem”. I needed to read back and read ahead to try and work out what a word meant and if I still don’t know I can ask someone.
